The SH180 can be utilized in 3 different configurations:

Configuration 1:
Use as Incubator only: 180 eggs in the egg trays, no space for a hatching basket.

Configuration 2:
Use as hatcher only (3 x hatching baskets): Hatch 120 eggs approximately. Each hatching basket can comfortably take 40 eggs. No setting of eggs in the egg trays can happen in this configuration

Configuration 3:
Incubate and hatch eggs at the same time (Combo): 120 eggs in incubator trays and 40 eggs in 1 x hatching basket.

You can configure the layout whichever way you want.
